Am now in London and will stay for at least a month. Still a bit dazed from a travelling to Madrid and then to London and especially from the three days in Madrid. This is the kind of city for which the concept of "work hard, play hard" must have been invented. Will tell more about it soon.

Adventure in Gerês

It all started with a sudden urge of mine to go for a walk in the mountains. As this was a healthy urge, strongly contrasting with my usual ones of eating chocolate or curling up in bed with a book, I thought it ought not to be ignored. So I started e-mailing people and the result was that four of us set out to Gerês on Saturday. It kept raining on and off but we decided to set off at a time when it wasn't and were glad we did, because although it started raining again the trees offered us some protection and the walk was definitely worth it. Here are the complete pics!

Location, location...

I'm going to be in Porto until 22nd April (last chance to visit, peeps), then in Madrid until the 25th and then in London until the end of May or probably longer.
So all of you who argue you don't keep in touch because you don't know in which country I am now have no excuse.

What are you waiting for?

Yesterday was another of those glorious Porto days. 21 degrees, sun shining, birds singing and a smell of lilac and honeysuckle in the air. To illustrate the good life, I post a picture my new German housemate and tenant Joern took by the seaside, about 20min walk from my house.
So what are you waiting for to come and visit me?
